Also known as the Wolfmother and the Cannae'Empiress, among other names, Ulvma was the second child of Gaea and the First Wolf, one of the three the Earth Mother bore to guard her world.
She died in the War Against the Gray Prince, in the year of the Shattering, and she was the last of the three children to fall. Her brothers fought apart from the mortal armies: the dragon Nagatayora above the field, the lion Shara Bolasi holding a stretch of the line. Ulvma fought the way a wolf fights, by the pack and never alone. She ran inside the mortal ranks and was brought down still among them, after both her brothers were already dead. The warriors who drank her blood where it fell became the Ulvsjael, and that inheritance is told in their own history.
