Domains: Deep-current, battle-tide, the trident that strikes from the dark below.
Era of ascension: Great Expansion (~4,000 BSD). Cohort: current. Tromaran rose with the consolidation of triton martial culture. The warrior-cities of the deep shelf needed a patron of attack from cover, the maneuver their geography made natural and their neighbors made necessary.
Worshipped by: The tritons of the deep-shelf cities. Their warriors invoke him at the moment of breaking from cover; his name is the last word a triton speaks before the strike, and the first word said over a triton killed in one. (The worships edge is authored downstream on the worshipper, not here.)
Velaendor holds the sea as archive, the memory of what the surface forgot. Tromaran holds the same dark as a weapon. The two are the two faces of the deep, not rivals, and the triton and the kendor recognize this in each other across long oceanic distances. A triton war-band that surfaces to raid sings Tromaran's name into the swell as it leaves; a kendor coast hearing that song knows what is coming and reads it as Velaendor delivering a message in another daemon's voice.
