Thrygar

Daemon

Domains: primal howl, untamed wilderness, the first breath at first light; current cohort; Thrygun patron of the cry before strategy.

Type
Daemon

Domains: Primal howl, untamed wilderness, the first breath at first light.

Era of ascension: Great Expansion (~3,500 BSD). Cohort: current. Thrygar rose with the Thrygun expansion into the forests and high wetlands northeast of Grand Tolkarsus — a people whose hunting culture moved before it planned, and whose patron became the howl that started the move.

Worshipped by: The Thrygun orcs. The Glivornaxi of the Plenjorn Swamp share him as a wilderness aspect; the howl extends into the wetlands and is recognized there. (The worships edge is authored downstream on the worshipper, not here.)

Solas is the cunning that thinks before it moves. Thrygar is what moves before thought. The two are not opposed — they are the two halves of a Thrygun day. At first light the warrior howls and runs; by midday Solas may have edged in, looked at the ground, and turned the chase. The howl came first, and Thrygar does not forgive a hunt that starts with deliberation.
