Domains: Cunning, wit, humor.
Era of ascension: Great Expansion (~5,000 BSD). Cohort: current. Solas emerged as trade city culture generated the first professional entertainers, satirists, and con artists — people for whom cleverness was a vocation.
Worshipped by: Entertainers, storytellers, merchants who rely on persuasion, satirists, and tricksters of all cultures. His following is wide but shallow — most of his worshippers are not devout. (The worships edge is authored downstream on the worshipper, not here.)
Solas is frequently dismissed as a minor deity, which he finds amusing. His domain of wit makes his followers difficult to convert away — they tend to spot manipulation before it takes hold — but also difficult to organize, since cleverness without structure produces no institution. He persists through sheer diffusion rather than concentrated devotion.
