The former capital, now Rothogomos's lair. Othyndria was built around a natural spring, the source of Wisdom Creek, and its great halls once held the treasury and archives of the kings of Argysis. It was the last seat to fall in the Dragon Betrayal. Grønmar, the last king, would not leave it; he died in the throne hall when Rothogomos tore the upper city open to reach the gold beneath. His bones are still under that stone. The dragon has occupied the hall ever since, and the treasury he killed a kingdom for sits exactly where the dwarven kings kept it.
The upper levels are gone, collapsed by dragon-fire during the conquest. The lower levels are intact, filled with Rothogomos's hoard and whatever has taken root in the dark in the two centuries since. Living creatures are rare here, and almost none come unsummoned.
