Gor sits in one of the interior valleys of the Crags of Geth—neither at the northern rim like Bu nor at the outer edges facing neighboring states. Its goblins attend confederation meetings, contribute to the required theater of quarterly disputes, and say very little beyond what is expected of them.
While other brood-fathers cultivate reputations and expand their households' fame, Gor's lineage has for generations accumulated things more concrete: favorable water rights in the inner valleys, recorded deeds to passes the other city-states have not thought to claim, and quiet arrangements with trade partners who do not advertise their dealings with goblins. The strategy has no clear end-point, which the other brood-fathers find more unsettling than any public ambition would be.
