Codunp sits in an interior valley of the Crags of Geth, and its goblins have developed a genuine aptitude for making things—an unusual trait in a confederation that more typically excels at arguing about things and performing things. The city-state's reputation for craftsmanship is the most consistent thing about it.
The difficulty is attention. Codunp workshops produce furniture that would command a premium in any major city, interspersed with devices no one can identify a use for and tools assembled in ways that suggest the maker was distracted mid-concept. Merchants who deal with Codunp have learned to inspect purchases carefully: a Codunp chair is equally likely to be a masterwork of joinery or an elaborate object that looks like a chair but functions as something else entirely. The brood-father has proposed a warranty system three times. It has never been finished.
