A rocky highland in the west where the Gray Citadel stands—one of the last holdout fortresses against the undead empire. The hills were once famous for horse-breeding, producing cavalry mounts prized across Terrenia. That tradition is extinct now; the horses were eaten during sieges or taken by the empire.
The terrain favors defense. Rocky outcrops, narrow passes, and poor footing make the Steed Hills difficult for shambling undead armies to traverse. The Gray Citadel was built here precisely because the land itself resists assault. So far, it has held.
