Selvauria

Daemon

Domains: wild-running, hooved pact with the plain, the herd as one breath; current cohort; Centaur patron of the moving herd.

Type
Daemon

Domains: Wild-running, hooved pact with the plain, the herd as one breath.

Era of ascension: Great Expansion (~4,800 BSD). Cohort: current. Selvauria's pool formed across a few generations of Siquestryan herd-leaders who arrived independently at the same observation: that a herd running together breathed in one rhythm, and that this rhythm did not belong to any single centaur in it.

Worshipped by: The Siquestryan centaurs. Their herd-songs are timed to a four-beat that matches a sustained canter; the songs are her prayers and are sung only while moving. (The worships edge is authored downstream on the worshipper, not here.)

Thrygar's primal howl is forest-dense and personal, one warrior's voice setting off through trees. Selvauria's domain is the horizon: a hundred bodies crossing open ground in time. The Siquestryans say the world stops dreaming when their herds halt, and that the daemon's rest is the moment of transition between standing and running, never the running itself. To pray to her is to begin to move. To finish praying is to stop. Centaurs who have grown old and can no longer run join the elder-herd, which moves slowly but does not stop; she still accepts them, but the prayer is quieter.
