Domains: Sea, navigation, safe passage.
Era of ascension: Great Expansion (~6,500 BSD). Cohort: current. Gavelos rose as the Great Expansion's maritime trade networks expanded across Alaria's coasts, filling the theological vacuum left by Thaleth's death in the Long Winter.
Worshipped by: Coastal human mariners, fishing communities, and trade-ship crews across the Great Expansion's ports. His following is concentrated in the Romance-tradition coastal human cultures. (The worships edge is authored downstream on the worshipper, not here.)
Gavelos is a practical deity — his miracles are navigational, his prayers are weather-readings, and his shrines are on harbor piers rather than in inland temples. He has no mythology of depth comparable to Thaleth's ancient Golden Age following, but he has what she no longer does: living worshippers who reach the sea every day. His following has grown steadily through the Seventh Dawn as maritime trade continues to expand.
