Thaleth

Daemon

Domain: ocean, tides, storms; dead cohort (Golden Age); the sea goddess of the great maritime civilizations.

Type
Daemon

Domains: Ocean, tides, storms.

Era of ascension: Golden Age of Man (~170,000 years ago). Cohort: dead. Died: God War & Long Winter (~75,000 years ago), when the Long Winter froze the shallow coastal seas and destroyed the maritime trade networks that were the economic base of her worship.

Worshipped by: The maritime civilizations of the Golden Age — seafarers, coastal traders, those whose lives were governed by the tides. No living culture maintains her worship. (The worships edge is authored downstream on the worshipper, not here.)

Thaleth was the patron of the Golden Age's greatest maritime achievements — the ocean-crossing expeditions, the coastal cities that dominated trade, the navigational traditions that read weather and current as prayer. When the Long Winter made sea travel fatal, her following collapsed faster than almost any other deity's.
