In the heart of Fylvrae Sylvrym, where the Twilight River bends north, lies the territory of Bjorkin—a void-attuned werewolf overlord who rules the most powerful pack in the forest.
Bjorkin is something unprecedented: an ulvsjael who has somehow achieved attunement to the Void element. Whether this came through exposure to a leyline convergence, pact with something from Nilus, or some other means is unknown. What matters is the result. Bjorkin can sense disturbances in reality, perceive across dimensional boundaries, and—reportedly—step briefly into the Void itself to ambush prey from impossible angles.
His pack has grown steadily over the past century, absorbing weaker groups and driving rivals to the forest's margins. Bjorkin rarely takes human form even for councils; when he does, witnesses describe a gaunt figure with eyes that seem to look through solid matter. He speaks little and never explains himself.
The den itself is located somewhere in the central forest, but its exact position seems to shift. Some who've escaped describe a clearing that appeared suddenly around them, ringed by wolves that emerged from shadows that shouldn't have been deep enough to hide them. Whether Bjorkin has somehow anchored a pocket of Void space to the material plane or simply knows the forest well enough to seem supernatural is an open question.
What's certain is that his territory—roughly the central third of the forest—is the most dangerous part of Fylvrae Sylvrym. Other packs hunt for food. Bjorkin's pack hunts for something else.
