A stretch of dense woodland west of Syvlius, climbing into the mountain foothills. Before the revolution, Syvlius used Avakus Forest as a buffer zone—patrols maintained order, logging operations extracted timber, and escaped slaves who fled this direction were hunted down.
Now Avakus is contested ground. Dead Moon warriors pass through heading south. Drasnian refugees hide in its depths. Sylthik survivors from Syvlius shelter in abandoned logging camps. And the Kuru, sensing weakness, have begun probing north from the Killing Hills.
