Where Moonwood meets Jungula Serpentine, the terrain collapses into a stretch of poisoned wetland. The water here is discolored, the plants twisted, and the few creatures that survive are aggressive and wrong-looking. Neither the Dead Moon Tribe nor the Sylthik claim Deathmarsh—both avoid it.
Something is buried there. The corruption seeps from a central point, spreading slowly outward over centuries. Whatever it is, the Dead Moon shamans know about it and refuse to discuss it with outsiders.
