Taulo Magi is a southern state of the Dalizi Confederation, occupying a stretch of tropical highland terrain below the bulk of the confederation's territory. Bordered by Shemu to the northeast and Kafula to the northwest, the state is anchored by the settlement of Bayu, which handles the confederation's administrative business within the state. (Note: review records a capital named Megu, but no pin matching that name appears in the entity graph — Bayu is the only listed settlement and is treated as the primary center here.)
The Durnigan Highlands form the elevated interior of the state, a broad upland plateau that gives Taulo Magi its climate character and much of its elevation. Below the plateau, the River Gorn cuts through the lowland margins, providing water and a natural corridor for movement between neighboring states.
The Madwood, a dense forest in the southern reaches of the state, has a local reputation for disorientation. Paths shift and game trails double back; hunters use it, but no settlement has taken hold inside it.
Taulo Magi's most notable feature is the Implosion Mines, a series of excavations east of Bayu where a compressed mineral was once extracted. Mining sections collapsed periodically without warning — hence the name. Active extraction ceased generations ago, but the shafts remain structurally uncertain and prospectors still enter, rarely exiting the same way they came in.
