The largest of the three craters in The Impact Craters cluster, Predatak holds a deep lake of startlingly blue water that never freezes despite the brutal temperatures of the Celedrim Plains. Steep crater walls rise around the lake, forming a natural amphitheater that traps sound and wind alike.
The Zwaeron refuse to camp within sight of Predatak. Their stories describe shapes moving beneath the surface on moonless nights—something old and large, unhurried in its movements. The lake carries unusual properties: those who drink from it report their dreams becoming prophetic for several nights afterward, though the visions arrive in symbols difficult to parse.
Scholars of divination sometimes make the perilous journey to Predatak's rim seeking clarity or confirmation. Few linger long enough to be satisfied.
