Vakhreon was one of the great Deoric mages of the Lost Ages, the period when command of the titans' tongue was a working profession rather than the suicide it became at the Blight of Arcanus. Almost nothing survives of him as a person. The age he belonged to left few records, and the Blight that ended it left fewer. What is known is reconstructed from what he built rather than anything he wrote.
He held an estate in the woodlands that are now Bestacia's interior, and he staffed it the way many of his peers staffed theirs, by reanimating the recently dead into servants and test subjects who needed no wages and kept no secrets. He died at the Blight, and his household outlived him by twelve thousand years. The ghouls that still hunt Bestacia's deep forests are the descendants of his servants, breeding by the same ritual he first used on them. He is remembered, when he is remembered at all, as the name attached to that problem.
