Tybalexyn was a gnome cartographer of the Great Expansion, born somewhere in the Pelican Isles diaspora, who spent sixty years mapping skystone trade routes and high-altitude navigation points. Her charts are the foundational document for any sky-route claim, and Shoryaven borrows from them without attribution — a slight she documented in a footnote that outlived his goodwill. Her method passed into other hands as well. The Velthari of Ilthenvar, who chart the sky-routes through the Nysanna sky-stone drift-belt and sell them to anyone shipping cargo north, still plot to the grid of waypoints and altitudes she first set down.
