Qavindal was a human scholar of the invented-harsh tradition, writing in the Great Expansion, who spent decades in the ruins of the False God's administrative centers reconstructing how the Lost Ages' most powerful political entity actually governed. His work is narrow, obsessive, and invaluable: he is the only scholar who asked how the False God's bureaucracy functioned rather than what the False God was, and what the physical record of that bureaucracy reveals about its end.
