Oznaryn was a human scholar from the Oznak cultural sphere, writing in the Seventh Dawn, who devoted her career to the pre-Expansion history of the desert confederacies — the Oznak and Tarnak peoples specifically, whose records Shoryaven's Chronicle either ignores or reduces to a single paragraph on "peripheral peoples." Her work is the primary source for the desert human cultures in the centuries immediately before the Great Expansion remade the continent's political geography.
