Ishari is Queen of Gissemari and seven years old. She inherited the throne as a child and reigns in name only; her father Vhelan governs as regent until she comes of age. She already shows the hands of a Gissemari artist, which pleases the guilds more than any decree a child monarch could sign.
For now she is a name on documents and a small figure at ceremonies. What kind of queen she becomes is unsettled, and Gissemari is content to leave it so. She is being raised inside the kingdom's forge-tradition rather than its politics, and she will take Gissemari's seat on the Council of Four Flames only when Vhelan finally yields it.
