Era of ascension: Seventh Dawn (~1,705 SD). Cohort: rising. Acclaimed by Sivakr cells in the first years of the underground retreat, when the surface was still raw in memory and the elves who refused to forget needed a daemon who would carry the wound un-erased.

Worshipped by: A minority of Sivakr — the older, underground-faith tradition, pre-dating Tiira by close to a century. The Sivakr state apparatus brands the cult heretical; the cult brands the apparatus a desecration. Both groups continue to live in the same caverns. Xalvaakr was acclaimed nearly a hundred years before Tiira was installed. This is not contested even by the Sivakr ministries that suppress the cult; the dates are in the duel-archives. What is contested is which of the two is the true silver-elf faith. The state position is that Tiira is the proper goddess of Sivakr memory and that Xalvaakr's cult is a pre-statehood superstition the polity has outgrown. Xalvaakr's worshippers reply that they acclaimed their daemon at the moment of greatest grief and that what came later was not a goddess but a manufactured replacement for one.

The doctrinal split is sharp. Tiira keeps memory clean — the official memory, the sanctioned account, the version that the silver-elves agree on. Xalvaakr keeps memory whole. Whole means the original grievance still wears its edges. A Xalvaakr-faith memory duel is not won by overwriting the opponent's recollection; it is won by carrying the unaltered original of the disputed event across the duel's length without surrendering a single detail. The cult treats memory-erasure of any kind as a form of murder.

Sivakr-state historians describe the cult as small. Xalvaakr's worshippers say their numbers cannot be counted because the cult does not keep rolls — to be on a roll is to be a target for state-mandated re-memory, which under Tiira's apparatus is a routine administrative procedure. A worshipper is whoever, this year, can still recite the original grievance their grandparents brought below in 1700 SD. The cult refreshes its membership through the act of practice rather than through enrollment, and the ministries cannot list it because the list does not exist.

A practical and ugly consequence: in caverns where both cults have followers, families split. A Tiira-faith Sivakr and a Xalvaakr-faith Sivakr in the same household will sometimes refuse to share certain rooms, since to speak the disputed memory in front of a Tiira-faith witness is to invite the state's gentle, surgical revision. The disputed memories are not always about the surface. Some are about a specific aunt, a specific cousin, a specific argument the family had in 1893 SD which one branch wishes wiped and the other refuses to release. Xalvaakr's worshippers consider this kind of refusal the central act of the faith. The daemon's standing in the cosmos, on their reckoning, is whatever remains intact in the household after the ministry's last visit.
