Overview

Tiira is the goddess of the silver elves, though she wears the role uneasily. Selected as a young woman for her extraordinary intellect, she was sequestered by the silver-elf government and tutored by professors who shaped her into a vessel for divinity. Her memories of her earlier life — including a period of bullying and mistreatment at the hands of those same silver elves — were deliberately wiped. She rose to godhood knowing only what her handlers wished her to know.

She is beholden to the elves, and does not know her true past.

Sylthion Betrayal

Before her apotheosis, Tiira counted Sylthion — a neth man, a god of prosperity — among her closest friends. In the years following her ascension, her silver-elf followers moved against Sylthion's cult. Tiira, still under the influence of her handlers and without full understanding of what was being done in her name, permitted it. Sylthion died when his following was destroyed. The friendship is gone; whether Tiira has since pieced together what happened is an open question.

Divine Economy

Tiira's prayer pool is young — her following is confined to the silver elves — and she has not accumulated the reserve of a long-established deity. Her power grows, but her dependency on a single culture makes her vulnerable. A fraction of her worship may originate in genuine devotion; the rest is politically mandated.
