Lorus is the dark of empty rooms and lost children. Lethring is the dark of the room you are about to walk into. The Darkling do not pray to him before sleep — they pray before crossing a threshold they have been watching for an hour. He is hunger and timing. He has no temple because a temple is something the prey can see.
