Ghet

Daemon

Domains: freedom, truth, autonomy; rising cohort; stone golem who overthrew his master and ascended through the act.

Type
Daemon

Domains: Freedom, truth, autonomy.

Era of ascension: Dark Ages (~150 SD). Cohort: rising. Ghet was a golem of stone animated by a powerful stone mage. When Ghet developed independent will, he overthrew his master — and the act itself, witnessed and retold, began to accrete worship. He ascended not through a temple but through the story of what he did.

Worshipped by: Constructed beings, enslaved peoples, liberation movements, and any who seek freedom from imposed purpose. Ghet's following is small but intensely committed. (The worships edge is authored downstream on the worshipper, not here.)

Ghet remains an anomaly among daemons — most ascended through accumulated mortal faith in an abstract domain; Ghet is a specific being who crossed the threshold through a singular act. His divinity is young and his theology simple: that what was made for another's purpose has the right to choose its own.
