Domains: Controlled rage, emotion-mastery, the eye inside the storm.
Era of ascension: Great Expansion (~3,100 BSD). Cohort: current. Banaki rose with the Danaki minotaurs' codification of the holding — the disciplined refusal to strike at the moment the body most demands it.
Worshipped by: The Danaki minotaurs. Their adolescents pass into adulthood through a year of provocations they are forbidden to answer; the year is held under Banaki's name. (The worships edge is authored downstream on the worshipper, not here.)
Sainu is the release. Banaki is the held breath that does not become a release. The Danaki say their patron sits behind the eye of every member of the tribe and watches for the moment of restraint as fervently as Sainu watches for the moment of striking. A Danaki who fights well in a controlled engagement has served Banaki; a Danaki who strikes from rage has insulted him. The strength of the body matters less to him than the steadiness of the hand that does not move yet.
