Balduahr's primary river, flowing southeast from the mountains into the plains. The Shivyll originates near Ironforge, passes east of Graystone through a defended gorge, and emerges onto the lowlands near Plainwatch.
For Balduahr, the Shivyll is both lifeline and vulnerability. The river provides water, hydropower for the forges, and a transportation route for ore. It also provides an invasion path. The gorge section is heavily fortified, but the lower Shivyll is difficult to defend. Balduahr patrols the river extensively and maintains watchtowers along its length.
Beyond Balduahr's control, the Shivyll becomes satyr territory. The river eventually joins the Lygrone before reaching the coast.
