A waterway that winds through the northern Misty Marshes, named for the constant low groan that emanates from its waters. The Dengar insist this is merely wind through hollow reeds, but the groan grows louder when the fogs thicken, and sometimes—especially on Hollownights when both moons are dark—it sounds almost like words.
The creek's source has never been found. It emerges from the fog fully formed, groaning, and flows southeast toward Cragwood before disappearing into the marshes. Some refugees claim the creek is trying to warn them about something. Others say it's mourning. The queen has forbidden any organized expedition to find its source.
