The largest of the Sal'emri settlements, a proper town of perhaps five thousand and the busiest of the bay's trading towns. Its covered market and temples carry the architectural stamp of generations of foreign merchants, but Al Khamilah is a Kuran town, positioned where the largest river meets the bay. It answers to no separate authority of its own.
