The last "normal" port before the haunted zone—normal being relative in Mueras. Port Perith exists because someone has to service the ships that trade with the cursed coast, and the sailors who work those routes need somewhere to drink that isn't actively haunted.
The town is tense, well-armed, and superstitious. Every building has iron fixtures at the doors and windows. Salt lines are refreshed daily. The local temple to the death-gods does excellent business. Port Perith's residents are not friendly to outsiders, but they're professional—if you have coin, they'll trade.
