The southern mountain, lower and warmer than its twin. Rich in iron and copper, Mt. Arn attracted human miners centuries ago—they stayed, built a city, and eventually discovered they had neighbors.
Vastilin sprawls across the southern slopes: markets, foundries, warehouses, and all the comfortable chaos of human habitation. The mountain's wealth flows through here—both the metals mined from the rock and the services sold from Eynmore above.
Features:
- Vastilin (capital): Merchant city of humans, population ~12,000
- The Iron Foundries: Metal processing and smithing
- The Great Market: Trade hub for the western mountains
- The Lower Tunnels: Mining operations extending deep into the mountain
