Soothesong Sound is the cold channel that the cliffs of Soya Grei overlook, in the northern wilderness of Konai Mora. The name comes from those cliffs. On quiet nights the wind through the rock carries across the water as a long, wavering tone that the Neth hold to be their dead calling to one another over the open sound. Boats that cross after dark go quiet at the oars, and few of the Neth will say aloud what they think they hear.
